Rabi Art Gallery (RAG) was established in 1996, at Shantiniketan and it is dedicated to the memory of Rabi Paul. Rabi Paul died in 1995 and he was a renowned artist for almost a decade. He was an ex-curator of Kalabhavan and his works are displayed at various art galleries.
Rabi Paul was very close to Ramkinkar Vaij life-long, renowned Artists from Shantiniketan and Tarasankar Bandyopadhyay, renowned Bengali novelist.
Working along the same lines of Ramkinkar Vaij, Rabi Paul’s works have traveled to several national and international exhibitions and are in the best collections of Contemporary Indian art. He has won several prizes for his works including the Ashapurna Devi's award. His painting reflects Indian art and it is published in Anandabazar Patrika, Desh and many others. The collections of both Ramkinkar and Rabi Paul are displayed in our art Gallery.
Since its inception, Rabi Art Gallery has collections of various artists and it has an extensive collection of art works from around the country, which you can order online.
